Signams' patented digits, which are supplied in different sizes and styles, are made from 55 micron black polystyrene film which has an indefinite life span. They are easy to position and handle which eliminates costly mistakes and wastage.

Standard Style

The new standard style digit based on the Charles Wright Font measures 79mm high by 50mm wide. Serifs added to the letters B and D avoids them being misread as 8 and 0

3D Style

The 3D style digit, whilst retaining the shape of the standard digit graphically, gives the impression that it is in relief and replicates the raised type of plastic digit which was used in abundance during the 1960's and 70's.

Grey tone digit styles can be used if the luminance factor is no greater than that given for black (which is < 0.05). All Signam digits conform to this specification.

Carbon Style

The Carbon style digit gives the impression that they are made from the modern carbon fibre material that is currently used to make formula one racing cars.

Hi-line Style

The Hi-line style digit is recognisable by its distinct dark grey coach line and is often teamed with executive backings to produce the well known Hi-line Executive Number Plate.

Whilst being smaller these digits do not look as narrow as the car digits. The size is 64mm in height x 44 mm width. The only changes are that the letters B and D now carry the new serif as described earlier.
