3D, Carbon and High-line digits are legal

Back Print Page

We have been having many enquirys due to the legality of 3D, Carbon and Hi-line digits especially as a result of MOT failures. All styles of our number plates fully pass the British Standard 145d and adhere to the tests. However some MOT test stations have failed some of the above digits, we have had proof from VOSA that these are legal see the below image and if you would like to see an enlarged printable pdf click here.

Since this email went live on the 10th of June we had a letter on the 23rd of June from the DVLA explaining the use of 3D digits click here to view the pdf
